Allan D. Bogutz
Allan D. Bogutz
Allan, recognized as one of the Best Lawyers in America, has practiced law since 1971. He works in estate and financial planning, and estate administration and management. He has been certified as a Certified Elder Law Attorney by the National Elder Law Foundation and as a Licensed Fiduciary by the Arizona Supreme Court. In 2007, he was honored to be elected as a Fellow of the American College of Trusts and Estates Counsel. Allan was Public Fiduciary for Pima County from 1975 to 1981 and he is Past President of the Pima Council on Aging, Inc., and founder and Past President of the Council on Aging Foundation and a volunteer Superior Court Judge Pro Tempore. He has been a member of the American Bar Association Commission on Law and Aging and is a founder, Fellow, board member and past President of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. He has served on the Arizona State Bar Committee on Professionalism and various national committees and has also been named a Distinguished Fellow of the Canadian Centre for Elder Law Studies. Allan has been an Adjunct Professor at the University of Arizona Law School and speaks internationally on Elder Law and estate planning topics. He is co-author of two books, Fifty and Beyond: The Law You and Your Parents Need to Know, and Elder Law: Advocacy for the Aging and has written many articles on aging and the law. Allan is married to Yvonne, and they have four adult children, Alissa, Aaron, Simon and Michael, and three grandchildren, Brianna, Fynn and Finley.
Brian C. Bjorndahl
Brian C. Bjorndahl
Brian became a member of the firm in 1988 after eight years of experience in trust banking. Brian concentrates his practice in the areas of estate planning, estate and gift taxation, probate law and elder law. First admitted to practice in 1977, he is a member of the Arizona, New Mexico and Wyoming Bars. Brian frequently speaks on Estate Planning and planning for incapacity to various community groups. He is also a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. He is Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Tucson City Employees Supplemental Retirement System. Brian has two daughters, Laura and Sarah. He enjoys diverse activities in his free time, including running and hiking.
Benjamin J. Burnside
Benjamin J. Burnside
Ben is a Certified Specialist in Estate & Trust Law by the State Bar of Arizona and an Certified Elder Law Attorney by the National Elder Law Foundation. He joined Bogutz & Gordon, P.C. in 1999, after having practiced with a Tucson estate planning firm since 1994. He also serves on the State Bar of Arizona Probate & Trust Section Executive Council. Ben earned a B.S. in Commerce at the University of Virginia McIntire School of Commerce and earned his J.D. at the University of Arizona College of Law (Magna Cum Laude), where he was an Editor for the Arizona Law Review. He is a Member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, the Rotary Club of Tucson, and the Pima County Bar Association. He writes and lectures frequently and is active in numerous community organizations including serving on the Board of Goodwill Industries. Ben and his wife, Dena, a CPA, have traveled extensively to all seven continents, and their first child, Josephine, was born on July 1, 2009. 
Theresa Hall
Teresa Hall
Teresa became a member of the firm in November 2008 after working as a law clerk for Bogutz & Gordon, P.C. She was admitted to practice in Arizona in 2008. Teresa earned her B.A. in both Political Science and Journalism from the University of Arizona and in 2008 she earned her J.D. from the John Marshall Law School in Chicago, IL. While in law school she developed an interest in elder law, and she founded and was president of the law school's Elder Law Society. She currently volunteers for Lawyers for Literacy. In her free time she enjoys running, cycling, downhill skiing, and spending time with her golden retriever, Parker.
Bruce Martin Estate and Trust Law Specialist
Bruce W. Martin
Bruce is a Certified Specialist in Estate and Trust Law by the State Bar of Arizona, and has practiced law in Tucson for 12 years. Bruce received his JD from the University of Arizona College of Law in 1997. Bruce is a member of the Executive Councils of the Probate and Trust Section and the Elder Law and Mental Health Section of the Arizona State Bar. In addition to having helped write changes to Arizona Statutes as a member of the Non-Uniform Law Legislative Subcommittee of the Arizona State Bar Section, Bruce is active in numerous organizations dealing with elder law, estate planning and planned giving, including the Southern Arizona Estate Planning Council and the National Committee on Planning Giving. Bruce is married to Linda, a CPA, and they have two young sons, Archer and Zev.
Craig H. Wisnom

Craig is a Certified Specialist in Estate & Trust Law by the State Bar of Arizona, and is a Tucson native who has practiced law for 14 years in Arizona in the areas of estate planning, estate and gift taxation, probate, and trust administration. In 2009, he was be elected as a Fellow of the American College of Trusts and Estates Counsel. He is the former Chair of the State Bar Probate & Trust Section, and has served on the Non Uniform Laws Drafting Subcommittee revising Arizona statutes, and the Estate and Trust Advisory Committee, which tests applicants and oversees the requirements for specialization through the State Bar. Craig serves on the Board of Directors of the Southern Arizona Estate Planners Council, and is active in developing and presenting continuing legal education programs.  He is also an accomplished writer, as evidenced by his award winning humorous combination of law and swords-and-sorcery, which was published in the State Bar's Arizona Attorney magazine. Craig regularly appears on KVOA's News at 4 as the station's legal contributor. Craig earned a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Arizona in 1992, and his J.D. from the University of Arizona College of Law in 1995. His wife, Patti, is also an attorney; their two young sons, Scott and Erik,  keep them both quite busy.
Craig Gordon
Craig Gordon - Retired
Craig practiced elder law with the firm from 1985 through 2008. He had extensive experience in Medicaid/ALTCS planning, including Special Needs Trusts, was certified as a Specialist in Estate and Trust Law by the State Bar of Arizona, and  recognized as a Certified Elder Law Attorney (CELA) by the National Elder Law Foundation (NELF). Craig was also selected as a Fellow of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA) in 1995 and Best Lawyers in America in 2007. Craig has been quite active serving on the Boards and Executive Committees of both national and statewide elder law organizations (NAELA, NELF, Az-NAELA, Senior Rights PAC), while always looking out for the best interests of his clients.  Craig has lived in Tucson since 1976 and is married to Barbara Smith, a pediatrician, and they have two daughters. Craig enjoys bicycling, birding, and SCUBA diving. Craig retired from the practice of law for health reasons in 2008.

Toni Barry
Toni has been with Bogutz & Gordon, P.C. since 1987. She has attended classes at the University of Arizona and Pima Community College and is a member of the Tucson Paralegal Association. Toni is a Certified Paralegal and assists families in the application process for ALTCS, the program which pays for long term nursing care for eligible clients. Toni also works in the probate and guardianship/conservatorship areas. She has two children, Chris and Rebecca.

Debra is a Certified Paralegal working primarily in the area of estate planning. Having been employed in the legal field for 24 years, she received her Associate of Arts Degree in Court Reporting in 1982. Before moving to Tucson in 2004, Debra spent 14 years employed with a law firm in Bremerton, Washington concentrating exclusively in the areas of guardianship/conservatorship, probate and estate planning. She is a member of the Tucson Paralegal Association. Debra is married with three daughters and two grandchildren. In her spare time she enjoys family, camping and motorcycles.
Wendy A. Lemcke
Wendy A. Lemcke
Wendy received her Bachelor's Degree in psychology from the University of Arizona in 1992, and then her Associate of Applied Science Degree as a Legal Assistant. Wendy began working at Bogutz & Gordon, P.C. and became a Certified Paralegal in 1994. She focuses on financial planning and management of client investments, income tax preparation, guardianships and conservatorships, and probate administration. She is married to Jeff Lemcke and they have two daughters, Megan and Jessica.
Melinda Oliver
Melinda Oliver
Melinda Oliver has served as a geriatric care manager in Southern Arizona for the past 20 years. She received her undergraduate degree form the University of Arizona and a Masters of Social Work from Arizona State University. Recently she has been certified by the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) as an Advanced Social Work Case Manager. In her role at Bogutz and Gordon, she assists the attorneys and their clients with assessment and capacity issues, medical advocacy, and crisis management. She often serves as a liaison for out of town family members to assure the safety and care of local elders. Melinda is a member of the National Association of Professional Geriatric Care Managers, National Association of Social Workers, and serves on the Board of Directors of Oasis Adoption Services, Inc. Melinda and her husband, Tony have two children, Kyle and Kelsey. In her free time, she enjoys swimming, hiking, and reading.
Rebecca Peer

Becky is a Certified Paralegal who has been a member of the Bogutz & Gordon team since 2004, working primarily in estate plan drafting. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Arizona, as well as a post-baccalaureate advanced certificate in paralegal studies at Pima Community College.  Becky is a member of the National Association of Legal Assistants, the National Association for Legal Professionals, and the Tucson Paralegal Association.  In 2009 Becky married the love of her life, Larry Solomon, with whom she enjoys playing piano duets, traveling, and cooking.
Vera Reid
Vera Reid-Kelley
Vera has worked in law offices in Tucson and Phoenix since 1977. She also has experienced as a Regisered Sales Assistant in a national securities Brokerage Firm. She became a Certified Paralegal  in 1990. Vera joined Bogutz & Gordon in 2002 and focuses on management of client investments and fiduciary administration. She is a member of the Tucson Association of Legal Assistants and the Pima County Bar Association (associate status). Vera is married to Alex, has one child, Krista, and two grandchildren.

Kelly Beahan joined the firm in 2007. She graduated in 2006 from the University of Arizona with a degree in Political Science and Classics. Kelly enjoys reading, hiking, and traveling.

Liana DiBene is our Receptionist. Liana spent many years in Alaska where she and her husband, John, raised four children. She was a Student Services Coordinator for the University of Alaska Anchorage College of Education. Liana & John moved to Tucson eight years ago to be closer to their five grandchildren.
Beth Fuller
Beth Fuller
Beth joined Bogutz and Gordon in September, 2008. She received her bachelors of science in social work from the University of Evansville. Beth has twenty-four years experience as a care manager working with elderly, developmentally disabled, and seriously mentally ill people. She is a member of the National Association of Professional Geriatric Care Managers. Beth has a son, Chris, and a daughter, Katie. In her spare time she enjoys reading, gardening, and fishing and hiking.
Suzi Goebel

Suzi Goebel is our Financial Assistant. Suzi has been with Bogutz & Gordon for 8 years. She is a native of Korea and has been in the United States for 23 years. Suzi has an Associates of Computer Science degree. She has one son, Rex. Suzi enjoys participating in the Woman's Auxiliary with her church, cooking, and reading.

Charles "Hutch" Hutchison joined the firm in 2007. He graduated from Gonzaga University in 2006 with a degree in political science. Charles enjoys watching movies and reading.

Leah is our Accounting Clerk. She is a native Tucsonan who loves cooking and camping. She is engaged to Ben and they have two lovely daughters, Vivian and Ruby.
Meghan Playford

Meghan is an administrative assistant primarily working with Craig Wisnom and Bruce Martin. Meghan has a 4 year old son named Roger who keeps her busy. When she has free time, she enjoys reading, watching movies and traveling.
Vickie Tannous

Vickie joined the firm in March 2009 as its Financial Manager. Prior to coming on board with B&G, her experience in the accounting field included government, aviation, medical and political parties. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Accounting from the University of Phoenix and a Master of Business Administration Accounting from Grand Canyon University , where she earned indoctrination into the Delta Mu Delta Chapter (International Honor Society of Business Administration). She is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Government Finance Officers Association. Vickie has been in Arizona for 24 years, hailing originally from the Midwest . She is married to David, a local architect, and has two gorgeous daughters, Kassondra and Cailee. In her spare time, Vickie has an addiction for soccer, which she holds an advanced coaching certified with 20 years of coaching experience. She is a rabid sports fan but also enjoys more subtle activities like reading, quilting, and cross-stitching.

Jeffrey Tomlin

Jeffrey Tomlin is our Staff Support Specialist. Jeffrey also teaches Tai Kwon Do and has a third degree black belt. He is the Arizona State Representative for the World Combat Art Federation. Jeffrey grew up in New Jersey and Maryland and has been in Tucson for many years. He also enjoys reading and bicycling.
